WALKING WITH DINOSAURS
 

       Dinosaurs were the largest creatures that ever walk upon the earth. They were ancient. They died because of meteors. We can’t see them anymore. This movie told us about Dinosaurs in Colorado 152,000,000 BC. That was the Jurassic periods. It was 70 million years of the first appeared of the dinosaurs on earth. Three months ago a mother of diplodocus laid a hundreds eggs on this clearing on the edge of the forest. It was the time for them to hatch, but they resigns hey have been discovered by an egg feet. The huge trees covered the forest. The floor of the forest covered by fern. The new born dinosaurs need to survive by eating. They ate until 2-3 kg fern day. Forest isn’t a safe place to the new born babies, they had to camouflage to deceive the predators.  

       Not all of the landscape is covered in forest, there are fern areas and this is where the dinosaurs tighten of the Jurassic road, like stegosaurs. There are many different types of these long neck creatures. These are diplodocus, the longest of them all. Some of them could reach 40 meters in length. To balance their long neck they have a long tail. They use their tail to communicate between members of them.

        There is even a tiny flying reptile called Terrasaurs, that life amongst these giants. These Terrasaurs feed on insects and spent their entire life hanging on the diplodocus. They fight, feed, and breathe on creatures that are hundred and fifty thousand times heavier than they are. Each diplodocus drop over ton dung on the areas, and the beetle dung attracted to them.

        1 year later the babies grow up, they like to eat at the canyon because the walls are thick with mosses and fern. This greenery attracts larger dinosaurs, like stegosaurs. Seven ton male stegosaurs are very dangerous. But two Allosaurs went there by the smell of pray. But they went back when they meet the big mad stegosaurs. Elsewhere an adult diplodocus is clearing forest. They like to eat ferns amongst the trees.

         Four years later, Diplodocus that was egg five years ago, was way longer. The forest seems like can’t have them, cause they are too large. They move to another place to find, more food. That night after they move, a huge fire storm hits the area. Some dinosaurs died in the flame. Only three members of diplodocus survive. The move to another place and they are not big enough to protect their self from adults Allosaurs. The other dinosaurs in that area are unfamiliar and huge for them. That is Brachiosaurs a 30 meters high creature. They eat the leaves on the tree top. These adult brachiosaurs could reach 70 tons, making them as the largest land animal that have ever existed. Diplodocus doesn’t have the same size and they really need their mother for protection. They need help, so they call another diplodocus. A giant diplodocus then came after heard the call.

     Five years later, the group of diplodocuses grows more. 12 meter of adolescences, and adults are three times of their size. That was the meeting season and for the first time the female that hatch ten years ago in the forest is old enough and large enough to reproduce. Male diplodocuses attract female with their voice. After calling, female will respond to them. Young diplodocus still can’t protect their self. From another place, allosaurs watch them. They hunt the youngster, but bigger diplodocus save them by the tail. Young diplodocus get hurt but it will recover. Diplodocus can live till a hundred years, and they have no natural predators.

1.      What is the animal?

They are Dinosaurs, like Stegosaurs, Terrasaurs, Allosaurs, etc. 

2.       How do they look like?

They are big, some of them have long neck, but there were little dinosaurs like terrasaurs. Many of them have thorns on their back and long neck. Some of them have long tail. Their color usually looks green after they hatch and then they grow up with grayish or brownish color. Their teeth are sharp, just like fang, all of them. Herbivores had 4 legs, but the predators have 2 legs and 2 hands. Their tail used for communicate to each other. 

3.       What kind of food do they eat?

Herbivores ate ferns or moss, but some of them were cannibals so they ate meats. 

4.       What’s the different with other animals?

They are different because they were so big, and they could live for hundreds of years. They were moving all the time to find their food. 

5.       What do you think about the animal if you keep them as your pet?

Well, dinosaurs are horrible. They could scare everyone with their size, their appearance, their teeth, and their voice, everything about them. And if we would have them as our pet we’ll need a huge cage, and of course lots of food to feed them every time. But there is another problem, they will mess your place with their dung.
